I was born in the small coastal town of Geraldton, Western Australia, and from the moment I learned to read, stories became my home. At just three years old, sitting at my Pop’s feet while he read in his library, I decided — quite confidently — that I would one day be an author.
Growing up, I was rarely without a book in my hands. And when I wasn’t reading, I was writing — filling notebooks with stories, poetry, reflections, and observations about life. To some, I may have seemed a little strange; to me, I was simply listening to the worlds unfolding within.
Today, I am a Registered Nurse by trade, a mum always, a Mining and Construction Site Medic by day, and a writer by night. Writing is where I breathe, heal, and remember. It is both my sanctuary and my offering — a place where lived experience, imagination, and meaning gently meet.
I write stories and reflections that explore love, loss, resilience, stillness, and the quiet spaces where transformation happens. Whether through fiction, spirituality, or meditation, my work is rooted in the belief that words can soothe, awaken, and guide us home to ourselves.
I’m truly grateful you’re here, and I hope you find something on these pages that inspires reflection, gentleness, and a little more light in your day.
Shine, shine, shine.
With lots of love,
Mal xxx

“There’s a body, there’s a mind, and then there’s also a soul consciousness. When you get in touch with the soul consciousness, you become aware that other people also have a soul, and you communicate with that. Then you realise that you’re both part of a more divine realm, and that’s called “divine consciousness.” You can go even deeper into what is then called “unity consciousness,” where you realise that we are all inseparably one. All the separation is totally artificial.”
